Non-EFL students’ perspectives on English learning in higher education institution: The case of Indonesian non-English major

The annulment of English subject at the elementary and tertiary levels harms absorption graduates. This decision needs to be reviewed whether it follows current conditions where graduates are required able compete globally. Competition becomes increasingly problematic because students lack continuous learning. study aims reveal perspectives non-EFL on learning in their faculties how association between achievement scores language they is related. It involved 45 from two non-English who studied only as a general course. Our statistical calculations using correlation analysis found that most had an optimistic viewpoint hoped provided with continuously. In addition, also lessons significant positive perspectives.
